VFunded review
Four ways in, from a one-phase Sprint to an Edge account that is funded from day one, on simulated capital from $7,500 to $200,000. We read VFunded's challenge pages, its FAQ and all four of its legal documents, and put every rule that can end an account in dollars below.
VFunded is our advertising partner. We earn a commission when you buy through our links. That does not touch the score: VFunded is measured with the same formula as the other 26 firms, and the result is below, weak spots included.
Our verdict
VFunded is a new firm with unusually complete paperwork. The rules sit in four public documents, the maximum loss is static on every evaluation, there is no time limit, and news trading, weekend holding and EAs are allowed. At list price it is not cheap: a $100,000 evaluation costs $459 to $649, more than most firms we score. The current BOGO50 offer changes that for new clients: half price plus an identical second challenge, which brings a $100,000 Ascend account down to $114.75. The 30% consistency rule applies everywhere, so it suits traders who build a phase over several steady days and does not suit traders who make most of it in one big day.
What works
- With the BOGO50 offer for new clients, two $100,000 Ascend challenges cost $229.50, or $114.75 each.
- No time limit on any evaluation phase.
- Static maximum loss on Sprint, Classic and Ascend: the floor does not follow your profits up.
- Up to 90% of the reward on Ascend and 85% on Sprint, as fixed splits from the first payout.
- News trading, holding over the weekend and EAs are allowed, in writing.
- Rewards can be requested every week and are normally paid within one to five business days of approval.
- Every rule is in a public document: Challenge Rules, Terms of Service, Performance Reward Policy and Refund Policy.
What to weigh
- List prices are above the field average for the same account size; the offer is for new clients only.
- No single day may bring more than 30% of a phase's profit, on every program, funded accounts included.
- Ascend has three phases, and phases two and three tighten to 4% daily and 8% maximum.
- One platform only: Match-Trader in the browser and on mobile. No MT4, MT5 or cTrader.
- The fee is refundable only before your first trade, and never after it.
- A new firm: no track record of payouts that we could verify yet.
Is VFunded legit?
"Legit" has two parts: is the company real and accountable, and are the rules written down so that you can hold it to them. Here is what we can check, and what we cannot.
- The company
- VFUNDED Limited, incorporated in Hong Kong under company number 80229244, registered at Suite C, Level 7, World Trust Tower, 50 Stanley Street. The same entity and number appear in the site footer and in the Terms of Service. Hong Kong law governs the contract and disputes go to Hong Kong courts.
- What it sells
- An evaluation on a simulated account. VFunded says plainly that it is not a broker, places no real orders, and does not hold your money: the fee is a service fee, not a deposit, and a reward is a payment VFunded makes based on your simulated results. That is how the prop firm model works; VFunded states it in its own rules.
- The paperwork
- Four legal documents are linked from the footer and dated 2026. They put numbers on the parts that matter most: seven days before the first payout, one request a week, a $100 minimum, one to five business days to pay, a five-day review after each phase, a 14-day window to challenge a decision, and three tiers of consequences for breaking rules.
- Identity checks
- KYC before the funded account is activated and before any payout: a government ID and proof of address from the last 180 days. Rewards go only to an account or wallet in your verified name.
- What we cannot verify
- VFunded describes itself as new to the market and publishes no founding year, no payout totals and no list of payment methods. We found no independent record of payouts yet. A new firm is not a bad firm, but you are trusting documents rather than a history, so start with a small account.

What each account costs
One-time fee in US dollars, list price before promo codes. The second line is the price for every $1,000 of simulated capital, which is how we compare firms. The cheapest per $1,000 at each size is marked.

Ascend is the cheapest way in at every size: $459 for $100,000 against $499 for Classic and $649 for Sprint. You pay for the lower price with a third phase and tighter limits after the first one. Edge costs two to three times more because it skips the evaluation entirely.
The BOGO50 offer, in dollars
VFunded's current offer for new clients: 50% off the challenge you buy, plus an identical second challenge free. It works on every challenge type and every account size, with the code BOGO50 in the coupon box at checkout.
Swipe the table sideways to see every column.
| Program | List price | You pay with BOGO50 | Accounts you get | Per account | Per $1,000 per account |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sprint | $649 | $324.50 | 2 | $162.25 | $1.62 |
| Classic | $499 | $249.50 | 2 | $124.75 | $1.25 |
| Ascend | $459 | $229.50 | 2 | $114.75 | $1.15 |
| Edge | $1,499 | $749.50 | 2 | $374.75 | $3.75 |
What that means in practice: on a $100,000 Ascend account you pay $229.50 and get two identical challenges, $114.75 each, or $1.15 for every $1,000 of simulated capital. Two attempts for less than the list price of one also halve the cost of a failed first try.
Our score uses list prices for every firm, because offers come and go and other firms run their own. So the offer does not change VFunded's score or rank; it changes what you pay.

Which program to pick
- Sprint, one phase
- For traders who want to be funded fast and are confident in their risk control. One 10% target, but only 6% of room to lose and 4% a day. That is the tightest ratio of room to target of the four: you can afford to lose only 60% of what you have to make. The split is 85%.
- Classic, two phases
- The standard route most firms copy: 8%, then 5%, with 5% a day and 10% overall in both phases and on the funded account. Room is the same in every phase, so a method that passes phase one does not need to change. The split is 80%.
- Ascend, three phases
- The cheapest and the best split, 90%. Each phase asks only 5%, but phases two and three cut the limits to 4% a day and 8% overall, and three phases mean three reviews. It suits a slow, careful trader who does not mind the extra weeks.
- Edge, no evaluation
- Funded from the first day, with no target to reach. The price is high and the limits are the tightest: 3% a day, 5% overall, and the maximum loss trails your highest balance. Reward periods need ten trading days instead of five. It suits a trader with a proven record who values time over money.
The 30% consistency rule, in dollars
VFunded's wording: no single trading day's closed profit may account for more than 30% of the total closed net profit of the phase or reward period. It is checked when the phase is reviewed or when you request a reward, on the day-by-day breakdown the platform records.
The arithmetic that follows from it: if no day may hold more than 30%, three days can hold at most 90%, so a phase that passes always has at least four profitable days. On a Classic $100,000 phase one, the target is $8,000 and the most one day can contribute is $2,400.
Breaking it does not close the account. VFunded may ask you to trade more days until the biggest day falls under 30%, trim the reward to exclude the excess profit, or send the account to a compliance review. In practice a $4,000 day in phase one means you keep trading until the phase total reaches at least $13,334, which is $4,000 divided by 0.30.
The rule applies to every challenge and every funded account, Edge included. Of all VFunded's rules, this is the one to plan your trading around.
What passing Classic $100K actually asks of you
- Phase 1: make $8,000 in closed profit. The account fails if equity touches $90,000, or if you lose $5,000 from the day's starting balance.
- The 30% rule: no single day may bring more than $2,400 of that $8,000, so you need at least four good days.
- At least four trading days, then a review that normally takes up to five business days.
- Phase 2: $5,000 in closed profit, same limits, the same four days and the same 30% rule.
- Identity check, then funded: KYC before the funded account is activated. After that, 80% of the closed profit is yours to request, once a week.
Rules that end accounts
- Daily loss
- Measured from the balance at 00:00 server time, against floating equity: open losses, swaps and commissions count. Touching the limit closes the account for good. Server time is UTC with the trading day aligned to the New York close.
- Maximum loss
- Static on Sprint, Classic and Ascend, set from the starting capital. Trailing on Edge: the floor rises with every new high and never comes back down.
- Trading day
- A day on which you open or close at least one trade. Four per evaluation phase; five per reward period, ten on Edge.
- Inactivity
- 30 days in a row without a trade deactivates a challenge account permanently. VFunded emails a warning at 20 days. A funded account can be deactivated with its profit forfeited, and you have 30 days to ask for it back.
- Capital cap
- Funded accounts may add up to twice the largest challenge VFunded sells, per trader per strategy: $400K today. Pass another challenge while at the cap and the new funded account waits until there is room.
- One profile
- One registration per person. Extra profiles to get around limits count as prohibited conduct.
What you can and cannot trade
Allowed
- News trading, in the evaluation and on funded accounts. VFunded may restrict trading around a high-impact release when conditions call for it; profit from a breach can be removed, and only a repeated pattern escalates.
- Holding overnight and over the weekend. The daily limit keeps running on weekends.
- Expert advisors and other automated systems, if they follow the rules and are yours to use.
- Hedging inside one account.
- Normal scalping based on real analysis.
- VPS and VPN.
Banned
- Copy trading or copying signals from outside sources.
- News bracketing: opposite pending orders placed around a release to catch the spike.
- Tick scalping, generally trades under one minute, HFT and latency arbitrage.
- Hedging across accounts, and coordinated trading across several accounts.
- All-or-nothing sizing, where the result rests on one position or one event. No fixed lot limit is published: the test is concentration.
- Account sharing, passing services and account stacking.
- Exploiting a platform error.
Consequences come in three tiers: an automatic close for an objective breach such as a drawdown limit, closure and loss of profit for prohibited conduct, and exclusion with related accounts for repeated or coordinated abuse. You can ask for a review of any decision in writing within 14 days.
Platform, instruments, leverage and costs
VFunded runs on Match-Trader, in the browser and on mobile. There is no MT4, MT5 or cTrader. You can trade forex pairs, metals, commodities and indices; crypto and single shares are not named in the rules, and the live instrument list is in the platform.
Swipe the table sideways to see every asset class.
| Program | Forex | Metals | Commodities | Indices | Commission, forex and metals |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sprint | 1:30 | 1:20 | 1:20 | 1:15 | $4.00 per lot |
| Classic | 1:100 | 1:50 | 1:50 | 1:30 | $3.00 per lot |
| Ascend | 1:100 | 1:50 | 1:50 | 1:30 | $3.00 per lot |
| Edge | 1:50 | 1:30 | 1:30 | 1:20 | $3.50 per lot |
No commission on commodities and indices. The same leverage applies in the evaluation and on the funded account, and VFunded may lower it on an instrument when markets call for it. Swaps are charged past the 00:00 rollover unless the account is swap-free, with a triple swap on most instruments on Wednesday. Spreads are not published as a table.

Getting paid
Your share is 85% on Sprint, 80% on Classic and Edge, and 90% on Ascend, calculated on closed profit only; open trades do not count. These are the splits from the first payout, not a maximum you reach later.
- First request: at least seven calendar days after your first funded trade.
- Frequency: one request per calendar week, on a Monday to Sunday cycle.
- Minimum: $100 per request and per payment method.
- Trading days: five in the reward period, ten on Edge, inside the 30% rule.
- Timing: acknowledged within three business days, paid within one to five business days of approval.
- The first payout always goes through a compliance review.
- Paid only to an account or wallet in your verified name.
Two terms to know before the first request. A partial withdrawal closes the funded account and forfeits the rest of the simulated profit, so you start again with a new challenge. And VFunded may set a cap per account, per request or per period, shown in the program parameters on the platform. Payment methods are listed on the platform, not on the website. Taxes are your own; VFunded does not withhold them unless the law requires it.

Refunds and resets
You can get the fee back within seven calendar days of buying, but only if you have not placed a single trade and the account is not restricted. Opening or closing a position, a partial close, or a pending order that fills all count as a trade. After the first trade there is no refund, whatever happens next. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within one to two business days, for the amount you actually paid, promo purchases included.
The fee is not returned with the first payout either. Where VFunded offers a fee credit, it is paid as part of the first eligible reward and is not a refund. A failed phase cannot be resumed; you buy a new challenge or a reset where one is offered, at the price shown at the time. Filing a chargeback instead of using the refund process is treated as prohibited conduct.

| Split on the first payout | 80% | up to 90% | 80% on the first payout, up to 100% later |
| Time limit | No time limit | No time limit | No time limit |
| Consistency rule | 30% of the phase profit, every phase | No consistency rule. The Best Day Rule (a best day no larger than 50% of positive days) applies to the 1-Step challenge and to reward eligibility on a 1-Step FTMO Account, not to this 2-Step model. | Not stated by the firm |
| Our score (each firm's best program) | 71 | 60 | 63 |
Read it this way: the rules are close, because all three follow the classic two-phase shape. The differences are the price, what the split is on the first payout rather than at best, and the consistency rule, which VFunded applies in every phase.
How VFunded scores against the field
Every firm is scored on its best program. For VFunded that is Ascend. Each part is a percentile among all complete programs of the scored firms: 100 is the best in the field, 0 the worst.
